To our esteemed Bronx-based colleagues: We invite you and your community to attend Bronx World Film Cycle, Winter 2025, our flagship arthouse film programme which returns to its longtime Manhattan host venue of La Nacional on West 14th Street for a fourteenth edition January 5-7. Events include a curated programme of 34 films by 23 directors from 14 countries in a wide range of genres encompassing documentary, dance, animation, digital art, fantasy, sci-fi, drama and experimental works, from micrométrage (30 seconds to 2 minutes) to feature-length format.
As a champion of Bronx filmmakers since our inception, we are honored to host avant-premiéres of new works by Hyonok Kim (NYSCA Grantee 2024), Mark Cabaroy, Vibol Sungkriem and Dora Nano, and to spotlight contemporary Albanian cinema. Bronx World Film Cycle Winter 2025 includes world, US and New York City premieres, which find in our venerable Manhattan venue an attractive platform that draws international audiences and industry professionals, ensuring effective reach across two boroughs. The programme also includes a sculpture and photography exhibit, performances and music. Join us!
